Every certified translation we deliver is produced and certified by a translator sworn in at a German regional court, most often Landgericht München I. That’s the specific legal basis German authorities look for, not a general claim of quality.

Will my translation be accepted by my authority?
A translation certified by a translator sworn at a German regional court is accepted by German public authorities, courts, universities and registry offices for the document types we handle. If an authority has an unusual requirement — a specific stamp wording, for example — tell us before you order and we’ll confirm it fits.
What's a Normzeile and does it apply to my document?
A Normzeile is a standard German billing unit of 55 keystrokes including spaces. We quote non-standard documents by the word; some certified-translation providers quote by Normzeile instead, and definitions vary between 50 and 55 keystrokes, which changes the total. We state ours plainly wherever it’s used.
How many stamped copies do I get?
Two, included in the price. Extra copies are €7 each if you need more — for a second authority, for example.
My document isn't one of the eight. What do I do?
Send it to us and we'll reply with a fixed quote, usually within two hours during office hours.
